Pastor

Matt has served as pastor of Letitia Baptist Church since 2015. Prior to answering the call to pastoral ministry, he served as a youth pastor and worked as an agricultural education teacher.He and his wife were married in 2007 and are grateful to be raising their two sons.
Matt is passionate about faithfully preaching God’s Word and is committed to expositional preaching, teaching verse by verse through books and extended passages of Scripture.

Youth Pastor

My name is John Nease and I am the youth minister at Letitia Baptist Church. I am also the High School Principal at Walters High school. I have been the youth minister at Letitia since 2018. Before that I worked at a Christian sports camp and was also a teacher/coach/youth minister at Central High. I gave my life to Jesus at a young age and I found a passion for sharing Jesus with students after college while working as a counselor at a Christian sports camp. I love the outdoors and I mesh my youth minister with outdoor activities to create opportunities for discipleship.
